Skillet Mac & Cheese with Honey Baked Ham

This dish is, hands down, the cheesiest, easiest and most delicious homemade macaroni and cheese you will ever eat. Maybe because it is loaded with Honey Baked Ham!

Honey Baked Ham (diced)

2 Cups

Uncooked Macaroni Noodles

1 LB

Shredded Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese

1 LB (about 4 Cups)

Shredded Colby Jack Cheese

8 OZ (about 2 Cups)

Whole Milk

2 Cups

Eggs (beaten)


Butter (melted)

4 OZ (1 stick)

Dry Yellow Mustard

1 tsp

Garlic Powder

1 tsp


1 tsp

Black Pepper

3/4 tsp


Bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a boil. Add macaroni and cook for 4 minutes or until just under al dente. Drain noodles and run under cold water to stop them from cooking.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and the milk. Next, add 1.5 Cups of Honey Baked Ham, 2 Cups of shredded cheddar cheese, the melted butter, cooked macaroni noodles, garlic powder, mustard powder, salt and pepper to the bowl and stir to combine.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Evenly spread half of the macaroni mixture along the bottom of a large oven-safe skillet or baking dish. Evenly sprinkle 1.5 Cups of the shredded colby jack on top of the macaroni mixture. Top with the remaining half of the macaroni mixture. Cover the skillet with foil and bake for 30 minutes or until the contents of the skillet are bubbling.

Carefully remove skillet from oven. Remove tinfoil. Sprinkle top of macaroni with remaining 2 Cups of shredded cheddar, 1/2 Cup of colby jack and 1/2 Cup of Honey Baked Ham.

Turn on oven broiler. Place skillet under broiler for 4-5 minutes or until cheese is bubbling and turned a golden brown color. Keep a close eye on the skillet while broiling to make sure the cheese does not burn.

Let macaroni & cheese cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
